Nomads

Nomads Dance appears during January 2008 as Tibaire Useche's impulse to create an itinerant multicultural performance group. Where each performer has the opportunity to be choreographer, actor, singer, dance interpreter, researcher, teacher and pupil (simultaneously) during the creation process of a new piece of work for the stage. But knowing that performers in general have a very changeable life, she created a new concept in performing companies....NOMADS!!. Meaning that no performer, nor piece is attached to the company, but to their own path. Nomads is just a meeting point in which you could arrived, stay a while, learn, give what you have for us and go freely after we have performed the product of our meeting!
Nomads bases its work on intensive short periods of work during the year, making it possible for everyone to continue their normal everyday lives, wherever in Europe they live!

Moly Guilfoyle's Workshop!

During the first week of September "Nomads Dance" found itself immerse in the most inspiring, unifying, enriching and wonderful experience. Molly Guilfoiyle (English Actress) gave us 8 days of her precious professional time, to explore on certain elements of theatre: use of mask, mask into text, mask archetypes, language of mime, melodrama and tragedy.

This amazingly reach and intense week, gave us the opportunity to interweave -as a group- our different approaches to performance, defining this group character and setting a point of departure towards our first stage program to be perform by the end of 2009 or beginning 2010!
Molly show us a hint of her deep knowledge and experience in theatre and directing skills, and yet it was so.. much that we are still digesting!

Thank you dear Molly! And until next meeting!
